Plum - River's Early Prolific

Early variety bearing masses of small bluish-purple fruit. Sweet and juicy when fully ripe, delicious eaten straight off the tree, they also cook well. Regular and heavy cropper, the branches may need extra support to avoid breaking under the weight. Self-fertile.

This plum tree is growing on a semi-dwarf rootstock, ideal for the average garden.

Plums need a sunny site and a neutral soil to crop well, a pH of 6.0 - 7.5 is ideal.
