Weeping Cherry
Prunus yedoensis Ivensii

Graceful weeping form of the Yoshino Cherry, raised on the Hillier Nurseries in Hampshire and named in honour of their manager, Arthur Ivens. When the flowers open in early spring it is transformed into fragrant cascades of snow-white blossom. Lovely autumn foliage in shades of orange and yellow.

Rootstock: colt (semi-dwarf)

Size after 10 years:
approximately 2.5m (8ft) tall by 3m (10ft) across
