Weeping River Birch
Betula nigra Summer Cascade

This is an excellent small tree for wetter soils. The gently weeping branches and peeling crimson orange bark make a decorative display all year. Remarkable for its ability to cope with damp or even boggy soils.

Size after 10 years:
approximately 2.5m (8ft) tall and across

Birches are extremely hardy being found throughout Scandanavia. They are also well adapted to poorly drained and wet soils.
